Events Not Appearing in Real-Time Monitor

Tracking Script Issues

  • Verify the script is installed in theme.liquid before </head>
  • Check browser DevTools Network tab for requests to your MRKT Mesh endpoint
  • Ensure the API key in the snippet matches your dashboard
  • Clear your browser cache and test in an incognito window

Webhook Issues

  • Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Notifications and verify MRKT Mesh webhooks are registered
  • Check that your Shopify store connection is active in Settings → Store
  • Place a test order and wait 30 seconds for webhook delivery

Events Appear but Show Failed Delivery

  • Check the error message in Monitoring → Real-Time for the specific failure reason
  • Verify your destination credentials (API keys, access tokens) are correct and not expired

Missing Purchase Events

  • Purchases come through Shopify webhooks, not the browser script
  • Verify your store connection is active and webhooks are registered
  • Check if the order appears in Monitoring → Attribution

Duplicate Events

  • MRKT Mesh deduplicates by event ID — duplicates usually indicate a misconfigured browser pixel
  • Ensure you're not sending the same event from both the browser pixel and MRKT Mesh
  • Use event ID deduplication in your destination settings
